Our Art campers began the morning by painting outside with Mr. Perry. They dripped, splattered and threw paint onto large cloths in the field. The freedom to move around the canvas and paint how they wanted was an exciting change for the children. I wasn't with one group for their painting time and when I joined the, again one child told me, "You missed all the fun parts!." There are two beautiful cloths that resulted and I can't wait for you to check them out at our Friday morning showcase.
Our Innovation camp has been full of movement this week. From jump roping to relay races and throwing practice, they have been busy learning and playing together. This afternoon campers were working hard on their Claymation projects. They have been shaping and painting their clay figures for their Claymation movie. Filming has also begun and the children are becoming quite skilled at working the cameras. I can't wait to see all their effort brought into action on Friday afternoon. : )
