Do you know the difference between a chickadee and a tufted titmouse?
Grades 1 and 2 campers are exploring the world of birds this week at camp. On our bird walks around campus we have found some baby birds, feathers, nests, and even some footprints. We are learning to recognize some bird songs, and we have even worked on drawing birds. We are keeping track of what we have seen in our bird books. In the days to come, we will get our hands dirty as we start to focus on bugs. We’ll be hunting, collecting, and making some buggy crafts.
