Session 1: June 29-July 10(OFF JULY 3)
Performing Arts
Join us as we dive into the life of a theater artist! This camp will allow young actors to explore the art of live performance from all sorts of perspectives: developing character, designing the set, digging into costume design and more! We will gather on the last day of this session as the campers take center stage for a memorable performance!
Session 2: July 13- July 24
Artists at Work
For the creative camper, grab your smock and join us as we create wonderful masterpieces! This session we will explore ceramics, tie dye, collage and more. We will study the work of famous Artists and gain inspiration for our own pieces. A gallery of each campers’ work will be on display the last day of the session for families to enjoy.
Session 3: July 27- August 7
Learning through Landscapes
Campers will enjoy exploring our beautiful campus! We will work in the garden, explore the woods, enjoy the Shipetaukin creek, take a field trip to our neighbors at Cherry Grove Farm, learn about animals that we share our campus with, and support their habitats. Learning through landscapes shows students that we live in a world of interconnected parts and, by exploring these relationships through work and play, we can understand how the world functions.
Session 4: August 10-August 21
Computer Science and Animation
Our young filmmakers will learn the science of film and animation using STOP MOTION. Each child will create their own storyboards, scripts, and design sets. With the use of clay, LEGOS, or everyday objects our campers will create videos of their own. On the last day, we will enjoy watching our work come to life on the big screen! *Each camper will need a 32GB Flash Drive to use with our iPads to store their creations. Once registered for this session you will get information on what kind of flash drive is needed.
