Reimagine games was a wonderful week full of outdoor play and creativity. The entire week's activities were based around a prominent summer staple; the pool noodle. First thing on Monday morning, the children created a water wall for a week full of water fun for all ages.

REIMAGINE GAMES: We worked with our summer camp artist Miss Summer to create a "Color Game." We made a dice and color board to play our game. We practiced taking turns and matching the pom poms to the corresponding colors! We also enjoyed playing some baseball together. We learned how to run the bases! It was so exciting when our friends made it all around. We enjoyed cheering for each of our teammates.
OODLES OF FUN: We had a wonderful time using the noodles in many different ways. Campers worked together to design hurdles and create an obstacle course! We used our noodles for baseball bats as we practiced our swings. We also used the noodles to make cute bumble bees and dragonflies to take home.

Group 2- 4 years and older,
The children planned and drew the 'blue prints' for an obstacle course , and then had a great time putting these plans into action. We used the noodles as bats, as javelins and even as hurdles. One of the favorite games, was the catapult competition, of course made out of noodles, as well as rocket flinging . We made a cool noodle water wall for all to play with in the playground. For a final pool noodle farewell, the children created boats which we then used on water to see who's design worked the best. The children discovered that when you combine imagination with everyday materials, all sorts of fantastic games can be created.

Boat racing. Without actually touching the boats, the kids took turns racing their boats to the other side of the pool by creating waves with their hands. It was great fun.
